Is Lithium Considered An Anti Depressant?

I am a currently working on my Masters Degree in Community Counseling at Argosy University in Chicago. I am doing a research project on Conduct Disorder. I am working on the part of the drugs used to treat the symptoms of this disorder. My question is:
Is Lithium considered to be an anti depressant?

Hello thanks for asking from HCM for your health related queries

I can understand your concern. Lithium is basically a mood stabiliser drug. The drug helps to stabiliser the mood in patients of bipolar affective disorders. Though we can't say that its an antidepressant drug but it works in depression cases in bipolar disorders. But it can't be considered as an anti depressant drug.
