Hello, Thanks for the query, Linzess is Linaclotide, a recent drug and being used by doctors for treating pain of Irritable Bowel Syndrome that is constipation. Constipation can occur due to many reasons and it is extremely important to find out the exact cause . I would advise you to consult a physician or gastroenterologist and get examination done like complete blood count, stool examination, Ultrasound scan of abdomen, Colonoscopy & contrast studies . If this drug is not working doctor may prescribe you traditional drugs like lactulose, milk of magnesia and cremmaffin or bisacodyl tablets. Drink one spoon of honey in warm water daily .
