Is Levothyroxine The Right Medicine For Hypothyroidism?

I am a 54 year old female that is on 10 mg of Lisinopril and 40 mg of pravastatin sodium. Last October I started .05mcg of levothyroxine for hypothyroidism. My Dr says I have a blip on my EKG but it has not changed. Lately I think I have been having afib (has happened only a couple of times in a month nd a half) . The first time I thought it was associated with trying a new cholesterol medicine Atrovastin Sodium 10 mg which I have now stopped taking. Should I be concerned.
