It is used to treat major depressive disorder, bulimia nervosa (an eating disorder), obsessive-compulsive disorder and panic disorder. Latuda contains lurasidone, which is an antipsychotic medication. It is used to treat schizophrenia in adults. There is a moderate degree of interaction between Prozac and Latuda. Using fluoxetine together with lurasidone may increase side effects such as dizziness, drowsiness, confusion and difficulty in concentrating. You need to avoid activities requiring mental alertness such as driving or operating machinery. You should completely avoid the use of alcohol while being treated with these medications.
