Is Krimson Medicine A Contraceptive?

Due to pcos I'm on medicine krimson 35 and its a 21 day course and then I have my periods. It's going on since 2 months but this month I had unprotected sex on second last day of course. Though ejaculation was not inside the vagina but still there are risks. Is krimson 35 a contraceptive?? Because when I searched for it it showed that but I'm not sure. Can you clear it to me

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Yes krimson 35 is a contraceptive or birth control pill & you should not pregnant even after having unprotected intercourse.
Actually birth control pill like krimson 35 acts by preventing release of egg(ovulation). For this a tablet is taken regularly once daily for 21 days & then stopped for having withdrawal bledding. After a gap of 7 days pills are then taken again.
Now you have sex on second last day of course, you should take all remaining pills (19 pills)regularly this would not cause pregnancy.

For more queries, Refer to a gynaecologist

Hope this information helps
