I have gone through your query and can understand your concern. Hepatitis C is not genetic, but it can spread to your wife through sexual intercourse & then your son during pregnancy. but it's rare. Hepatitis C is spread only through exposure to an infected person's blood.
If your wife is pregnant & is negative for Hepatitis C. Your son will not have heapatitis C.
Hoping your query is solved. good luck
