Is HIV Test Required After A Risky Sexual Encounter?

About a year go I had a risky encounter. My partner inserted his penis once into my anus; there was no precum or ejaculation of any kind. A year later I was tested for HIV because of life insurance, and since I was approved. I am assuming that the tests were negative. My question would be would I have a need to test again seeing as there have been no encounters since then? Please Advise

Hello
You mentioned in the query that one year ago your partner inserted his penis in your anus but there was not any ejaculation or precum ( seminal fluid ) .
One year after this you tested for HIV by insurance company and they approved your case i.e. no HIV infection .
You are right , test is NEGATIVE , and you are also HIV free , no need of any concern and no need of any further test.
If otherwise ,if you would have been HIV infected , symptoms may have developed , so this is an indication that you are HIV infection free patient.
Good luck
