Is Eucalyptus Oil Safe For G6PD Baby ?

My baby is G6PD, can i use eucalyptus oil to my baby skin especially at chest, back and legs ?

Eucalyptus oil on skin has been studied in australian mammals(koala bear) and found to be toxic. Of course for ethical reasons, it hasn't been studies in children. But I would assume there is a risk of applying the oil in a G6PD deficient child.
