Is Epidural Steroid Shots Advisable For Back Pain?
I have seen a new doctor for back pain. He recommended an epidural injection without doing anything more than to manipulate my back and ask me if it hurts. I am very anxious about this.Should I still have the procedure or should I insist on more testing

If spondylitis like inflammation of vertebral disk present than steroid injection might prescribed
So spinal inflammation and cause has to be decided first by CT scan or MRI scan...
According to cause further specific treatment given
If obesity present than also back pain can occur
So loose weight if obese
So consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and than decide treatment plan
