Is Epiduo Advisable For Acne And Blemishes?

hello doctor →am reeta from chennai →i suffered from acne since 5 years but a doctor whom i visited recently suggested EPYDUO →IT IS REALLY WORTH USING IT but my pimple marks and open pores are still present →I use daily cleanser and toner from Ayur which is very light and i love my skin texture.. Please suggest a cream to eradicate pimple marks and open pores

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of acne and blemishes which occur because skin has increased sensitivity of getting pigmented and it is due to clogged pores of skin pores.

Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Wash your face daily with cold water and apply cream containing azelac acid.

- Apply aloe vera gel at night.

- Apply melalite XL cream and yes you can start with epiduo.

If condition doesn't get well in a week then consult dermatologist for proper examination and treatment . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like minocyclin, steroid ointment and may recommend chemical peeling for marks .
