Is Deriphyllin Advisable In Old Age?

I am 43 yrs old, Female, 65kg, 5ft 4in. I have cough variant asthma. Have been having breathing trouble for the last few years. This happens only after I have had a viral or throat infection. Is Deriphylline safe and without side effects. My doctor had prescribed Foracort 200mg- 2 puffs, but it does not seem to help in a more severe attack. How does Seroflo compare with Foracort

HI
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the asthmatic condition then Etiophylline (Deriphylline) would be best medicine and may not have any side effect, some time this may give good response to steroid hope this information helps, take care have a nice day. (Seroflo may be broncodilator while Foracort is steroid)
I find this answer helpful
