Is Deriphyllin Retard Or Seroflo Better For Cough?

I have tightness in the chest, with cough and some mucus, maybe from sinus. The doctor I went to said my chest is clear. I ve taken both deriphyllin retard 300 and used seroflo 250 inhaler in the past. Both give me relief but I feel deriphyllin acts faster and the effects last the whole day. I have high BP. Which would be more advisable - deriphyllin or seroflo

Hello,

As per your history, it seems to be bronchial asthma. Both medications are for asthma. One is fast acting, and other is slow acting. As both are required, for treatment. Treatment depends upon underlying condition. Kindly follow with a detailed history, or consult with ENT surgeon.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
