Is Cytotec Advisable For Uterine Blood Clots During Postpartum?

I delivered my baby 2 weeks ago and went to my gynae for a follow-up. She found some bloodclot in my uterus via ultrasound and prescribed cytotec to get rid of the remaining blood. I can t find information online of cytotec being used for this purpose. I ve only taken my first dose (2 x 200 mcg) and have been having severe spasms and diarrhoea. I m worried it will affect my baby as he is fully breastfed. Should I continue taking the medication?
