Is Combiflam Effective For Lower Back Pain?

Hi Doctor- I am having severe lower back ache from last three days and it has increased in the due course of time. I am 31 years old male and overweight. Is it advisable to have combiflam now and see if this pain reduces. Kindly advice what is best. Thanks, Dilip

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Yes combiflam could be taken for lower back pain you are facing, if you are not allergic to any of its drugs & are not suffering from asthma, gastritis or liver problems. According to your symptoms you should be suffering from minor muscle or ligament tear.
Combiflam contains ibuprofen 400 mg & paracetamol 325 mg & it is good pain killer for mild to moderate pain. You could take this medicine 2-3 times a day with meals for maximum of 5 days. Don't do anything like lifting weight, running etc.
If pain persists or worsens you should consult a orthopedist as your problem could be more serious like slipped disk, degenerative disk, fracture, etc
