Hi,

Cod liver oil consist of essential fatty acids which can be reverse the fatty change in liver but not effective on liver chirrosis which is permanent damage to liver. You can halt the progression of the disease. It can be taken once daily after meals. You can use it to stay healthy.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
