Is Clotrimazole Or Is Ketoconazole Better For Treatment Of Itchy Skin?

Hi doctor i have infection of itching and red dots on skin suffering from last 3 months. whatever I guess it has occurred due to sex with my wife. what is precaution and treatment for this ? Presently I using ketoconazole cream for treatment but not getting much improvement. which one is the best between clotrimazole and ketoconazole. Pls sujest me

Hello.
If ketoconazole cream hasn't helped, either this isn't a fungal infection or you need oral Diflucan if it is. It could be folliculitis--a hair shaft bacterial infection--and, in that case, you need a course of antibiotics like Septra DS
