Hi,
From your query I understand that you wish to take cilest pill continuously for 6 weeks without any interruption or break so as to skip the period at the end of 3 weeks.
Cilest pill is not the right medicine to delay menstruation. Cilest is a
combined oral contraceptive pill that contains two types of
female sex hormones (estrogen and progesterone) and is commonly prescribed to prevent unwanted pregnancy, to treat heavy or painful periods,
premenstrual syndrome, or endometriosis.
It is not as effective as
Norethisterone (Primolut-N) to delay periods.
Ideally, Norethisterone is commonly prescribed to postpone the period because it is superior for women who desire to avoid
breakthrough bleeding and immediate return to fertility after discontinuation as compared to combine oral contraceptives like cilest pills.
If you wish to continue taking cilest for 6 weeks without skipping, the amount of withdrawal bleeding ('period') will be slightly more.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
