Is Celestamine Safe For My 1- And 7-month-olds?

Hi may I know if celestamine is safe for my 1 and 7 months daughter. She had a cough and cold problem last June and was prescribed by her doctor with celestamine and now she is starting to have colds again and beginning to vomit phlegm. Can I still give her same medication? Is it safe for her and will it have a side effect on her?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should send her to her pediatrician and check out if there is any serious lung infection first before deciding to use celestamine again.

She might require other medications depending on her health problems. Better pay a visit to her pediatrician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
