Baclofen is not effective for the treatment of essential tremors.

Baclofen is a GABA-B receptor agonist which works as a muscle relaxant and an anti-spastic drug. It is used to treat muscle spasms caused by multiple sclerosis, spasticity associated with cerebral palsy and injury or disease of spinal cord.

It is not recommended in the treatment of essential tremors.

Essential tremors is best treated with beta adrenergic receptor blockers like Propranolol or anti-convulsant drugs like Primidone or Gabapentine or Topiramate after consulting a neurologist or physician.
