Is BTN Forte Safe For Hair Loss And As A Supplement?
My daughter is 13 years and is active as far as her health is concerned. However, from last three months she has dandruff and hair loss problems which tend to be become severe. Her diet is good, but very slow in eating. Is BTN forte 10 mg safe for her on her hair loss as well as a supplement?
Dandruff or Seborrheic dermatitis is a common cause of hair fall. BTN forte is safe for her, but more important for her is to use an antidandruff shampoo regularly.
I mostly prescribe a ketoconazole based shampoo, to be used thrice weekly for 2 weeks or so. Once dandruff is controlled it should be used once or twice weekly as a maintenance.
take care regards
