Is Atenolol Safe And Effective In The Treatment Of Palpitations?
i Am taking Atenolol simply to relieve heart palpations......and taking only when palpations occur. My blood pressure runs low and I think the papations occur mostly when I am or have been under stress. I stay away from things that have caffeine. I have now had a cup of cofee nor tea in months - and enjoy both! I do not take the medfication on a regular basis. Am I ok using as I do? My email address is YYYY@YYYY
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You can take tablets as per your doctor's advice don't interrupt it & it is really good to avoid caffeine substances. As you said you have low blood pressure your tablets for palpitation can be changed accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
