Is Ampiclox Recommended As Typhoid Medication?

PLEASE KINDLY ADVISE WHETHER AMPICLOX IS RECOMMENDED FOR THE TREATMENT OF TYPHOID ?.
I HAVE BEEN STOOLING WITH BLOOD WITH STRANDS OF MUCUS,ACOMPANIED WITH INTERMITTENT ABDOMINAL NOISE. After some lab investigations I was told I have infection of H. Pylori and was advise to take clarithromycin and amoxicillin and omeprazole. I still see the trace of mucus and intermittent abdominal noise, though I no longer see traces of blood while stooling.

Please advise me further. Iam 48 years old and my name is Brian DODO a Nigerian

Hi Brian,

I have read your medical history and no sign for typhoid infection was reported. All your signs was related to H.Pylori infection which was treated correctly with clarithromycin, amoxicillin and omeprazole.

The mucus in your stool could be related to GI candida infection due to antibiotic use. I suggest to discuss with your physician to start oral anti-fungal infection, and to start probiotics.

All the best!

Hi. Ampiclox works well for intestinal infection as typhoid is also a infection of small bowel. There are better alternatives available in the market , which your treating Doctor would know better.
