Is ALT Level Of 77 A Cause For Concern?

I m looking into my test result for ALT (SGPT) OP, which is 77. I know it s above the range and wondering what too high is. I m 52, pre-diabetic, 5 5 and 165 lbs. I was 182 lbs, was put on Saxenda, but worried about my liver and wondering if it can be fixed. I rarely have a glass of wine, but not while on meds

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

There are many conditions which give rise to borderline raise of SGPT such as viral hepatitis, fatty liver and other intestinal infections with bacteria/virus, and others. Nothing to worry at all, it can be totally controlled with proper medications and dietary precautions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
