Is 100mcg Of Thyronorm For TSH Of 9 The Correct Dosage?
Hi .. I am taking thyronorm 75 mcg since 5 years. Last year during my pregnancy due to tsh variation I had to reduce it up to 25 mcg. 2 months after delivery I did a blood test and found that tsh was 9. I increased tablet to 100 mcg without doctor consultation. Now after 2 months I am feeling very tired all time. I fear if I am on wrong dosage. Please advise.

self medication is very harmful. consult your family doctor for follow up. maintain T S H at 2.5 to 3 . get blood test for T S H . YOUR DOCTOR WOULD INCREASE OR DECREASE THE THYRONOR12.5 . ONCE IS IS CONTROLLED .NO NEED TO CHANGE MEDICINE UP TO 6 MONTHS TO ONE YEAR. TAKE VITAMIN D3 & CALCIUM,IRON WITH CONSENT OF YOUR DOCTOR. FEEDBACK.M
