Hi,
My daughter 12 months with a weight of 7 kg, suffering from cold, cough and phlegm from the last one month, consulted pediatrician but not able to cure fully. Advised to nebulize with 0.63mg levolin, whenever we nebulize, she is crying lot continuously...then we consulted another doctor, he scolded on using 0.63mg 2.5 ml full dose along with 2.5 ml saline(NS). Please let me know is it harmful to my babe if we use it in this way...

hi....
actually levolin is a drug mostly used for acute and chronic asthma ....it mainly acts by increasing the diameter of airways ,which is the main cause of development of asthma by narrowing of airways...
Youur child is having sputum and cold...so it is better to use a good antibiotic and some antiallergic agents like levocetrizine....you can also add syrup to decrease the airway secretions...And about the drug you already used, forget about it now..don't be tense it will not harm your kid now..and next time use it cautiously with professional advice only.....
