Intermittent Itchy Skin. Is This Associated With Liver Or Kidney Disease?

For about two months I have been experiencing intermittent itchy skins. It is not isolated. itchy skins occurs on my back forearms, thighs and sack. I have a Dr. appt on Friday and am trying to make sure I have adequate information to discuss. How common is liver and/or kidney disease associated with intermittent itchy skin. When I take a bendryl it seems to relieve it...

hi in liver and kidney problems persistent itching occurs rather than intermittent itching.i think in this condition u are suffering with acute urticaria.it is mainly due to any allergen you have taken.rule out this.sometimes raised serum bilurubin can cause itching .rule out it.if it is positive use cholestramine tablet twice daily if negative treat it with routine way like atarax 25 mg at day time ,alaspan in the night and use of calamine lotion
