Infected With Bartholins Cyst, Painful, Difficulty In Walking. Should I Start Taking Bactrim?

I have an extremely infected, what I believe to be, bartholins cyst. I have had two before and they have never been this painful and usually clear themselves us but this one is about the size of a large grape and it hurts to sit down and walk,. I am currently in Nigeria and have no current access to a doctor. I do have 2 prescriptions for Bactrim however. Should I begin taking the bactrim and see if it helps with the infection?

Hi,
It seems that you are having recurrent infected Bertholin cyst.
It is to be excised and removed.
As there is no fascilty of availability of a doctor, for time being you may take Bactrim tablet you are having.
Ok and take care.
