Infant With Throat Infection And Fever. Cough Persisting, Not Taking Solid Food. Need A Diet

Hi, i have a question on my kid's (9 months old) diet
He was having throat infection couple of days back. So gave Calpol to reduce the temperature. now temerature is normal but baby is still coughing. For last two days he is not taking any form of solid food. he is drinking only breat milk and occasionally other drinks.please suggest a diet. thank you

hi ! from the description that you gave it looks like your kid is having acute pharyngitis . viral is the most common cause of pharyngitis & there is throat pain which might be the reason of decreased oral intake in your kid. try to give a lot of liquids & painkiller like ibugesic & hopefully your child will be all right in 4-5 days. take care.
