Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Inability to hold neck and stiff muscles of legs are indicative of motor system dysfunction and with motor milestones delay.

This presentation is most commonly associated with cerebral palsy.

Physiotherapy at an early stage is associated with good outcome and better motor function in the future.

And physical examination is important to detect the underlying neurological problem.

Therefore consult the pediatrician first for the assessment and for appropriate referral.

Multidisciplinary management will improve prognosis.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
