Infant Hurt And Upper Lip Bleeding And Swollen. Concern?
My 18 month old baby girl fell down from the couch and she got got hurt inside the mouth I guess.her lips got hurt against her teeth and it started bleeding.her upper lips look swollen and started bleeding.i tried to put ice.but she was resisting a lot.she cried for almost ten minutes and slept on my shoulder.she has been sleeping since three hrs now.is it anything to be concerned or she is just sleeping due to tiredness from crying out a lot.

Mostly lip injury is not serious other than the pain and discomfort.
Anyway you watch her .
When she wakes up check whether she is as usual.
The swelling will take some time to reduce.
