Infant Exposed To Loud Noise. Need To Get Checked?

I have a 9 months old boy. I took him to my neighbor's house one day and while my neighbor was holding my son, her 7 yr old son got Jealous (I assume), and went over beside my baby's ear (pretty close, like only 5 inches away) and purposely screamed a high pitch sound at my baby. My question is do I need to get hearing check for my baby? I'm a little concern that this high pitch loud sound would damage my baby's ear. Maybe I'm paranoid but at least I want to get some answers...Thank you.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

That shouting is unlikely to cause a problem to the baby.
But if you want to be doubly assured you can get a audiometry done.

The best way is prevention of such a scenario from arising.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
