Infant. Suggested Lactose Formula Or Cow Milk After Losing Weight After Birth, Not Enough Breastmilk. Less Milk Intake, Crying. Digestive Problem?

Dear sir,

Our baby is 25 days old. after born of her, her weight fell down more than 450 gm. So doctor suggested to give her lactose formula. for 5 days. After that my wife completely stopped that formula as doctor gave her medicine to increase her milk quantity. but still my baby cried lot . as doctor told my wife that your body not making enough milk yet so use lactose formula or cow milk. but i read lot many articles regarding cow milk. is it safe to give my baby? as of now we started to give baby lactose formula, as well as expressed breast milk but she eat very less lactose formula as well as express breast milk. most of quantity she split outside. and after that she cried again. Is She has digesting problem from that formula? will you please suggest us what to do for baby health as she will stop crying.
