Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain in the wrist while working suggests primary lesion in the wrist joint.
Infection, inflammation of the joint are common causes of pain in the wrist joint.
You need to consult an orthopedician for clinical examination of the wrist joint.
A couple of investigations are required, like X-ray of the joint is required.
If there is accumulation of fluid in the joint cavity, aspiration of the fluid may be required.
The aspirate will be examined microscopically for any evidence of infection, or any other inflammatory condition.
The diagnosis of the condition will be made after investigations and hence management.

Thanks and take care
