HI..

Welcome to HCM..

Recurrent UTI is very common in uncontrolled diabetes..first step is to bring the blood sugars under control.
Get urine culture and sensitivity test..this will give us which bacteria is causing the problem and which antibiotic its sensitive.
Consult your doctor with the report and start the treatment.

Hope I have answered your question.

General & Family Physician Dr. Lohit K's  Response
Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Recurrent UTI is mainly due to diabetes. You should control your blood glucose level first by taking regular drugs, doing regular exercises for atleast 5 days a week for 40 min per day. Jogging, swimming, aerobics and cycling will be better. then consult your nutritionist for correct diet. This will help in reducing recurrent UTI. Citralka is for alkalinising urine. It has some help in preventing inflammation but not stop UTI. Hope I answered your question.

Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take care.

Regards
Dr. Lohit
