If Blood Test Is Normal Will Stool Test Also Turn Normal?

I recently performed a blood test for helicobacter pylori and the results were found to be positive. The doctor told me that blood test alone is inconclusive so I did a stool test. I also did a blood test for blood sedimentation rate. The result where perfectly below normal limits. Based on this can I expect the the stool test will be negative?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Stool test is not done for Helicobacter pylori infection (H. pylori).
H. pylori is detected by breath test or gastric biopsy.
H. pylori is not excreted in stools so stool test is not used for detecting H. pylori.
Breath test and gastric biopsy can detect H. pylori and very effective antibiotic treatment is available for the infection.
Consult your primary healthcare provider for prescription of tests and further management.

Thanks and take care
