I took my husband to the Emergency Room Last Friday night in extreme pain. From mid-night to 6:00 a.m. in the morning. Doctor on call said .. he had come out I and they were calling an aumbulance to take him to Ohio State University Hospital- Go Buckeyes!
in/ The doctor on call in Madison county had stated that it not burst, but surgeon oncall stated she normally did not give antibiotics after surgey, but to the amount of inspection they were going to keep in. By the 3rd day, they taken him off food, put a tube down his nose to drain the infection. They want to see the infection under control and for him to have a bowel movement. But his point is how can he. He hadn't eat/drank for 3 days. He needs to move, which will help get his bows moving and help him to built his strength back up. My husband 5 years ago had major back surgery that didn't go well and walks permanently with a cane. He has to get up and move. He feels abandoned as they now have moved him to another room and left there. What would you suggest I do? What questions do I need to ask? What can I do to help? I need to be his voice. But don't know exactly what to say or what to do.
