I Slept With A Guy That Was Hiv, Is It Possible For Me To Get Infected ?
I slept with a guy that was hiv positive 3 yrs ago but he pass away last yr is it possible for me to get infected ? a mean for the pass 3yrs i have being getting tested and my results are negative do you think it will show up later ?

Hi welcome to Healthcare Magic...
I think you need not worry, if your repeated testing for HIV ELISA has been negative for the last 3 years . Usually the test becomes positive after 6 month of sexual contact, so its very unlikely that u might have infected , since your tests have been persistantly negative for last 3 years . U can go for Western Blot for HIV Virus , which is a confirmatory test and rules out HIV infection totally.
