I Just Had My Nose Cauterized (with Silver Nitrate) Again

I just had my nose cauterized (with silver nitrate) again today (5/4/16, different doctor, first one didn't do the right spot) and all was fine afterwards (first time was 11/15). My nose felt like there was still a bunch of crap in it still so I continued to try to clean it out (I was doing it a little bit in front of the doctor, told me not to do that much since it was right at the front and I knew that so I wasn't getting the tissue I twisted up in that area. Just trying to get the top and the opposite side). Got home and got a q-tip to finish cleaning it out a few hours later since my appointment was right before class. Got out the stuff that was bothering me. Played a game, watched Netflix, took a nap. When I woke up, the side I had cauterized felt like it had a lot more stuff in it again. I ignored it because I didn't want to mess with it. I leaned my head on my hand (right side which is the side that was cauterized), and it pulled my face tight a bit, and I got a slight nose bleed shortly after. Nothing I needed to pinch my nose shut or anything. Just took a tissue and dabbed the blood up from in my nose to get it out. So I looked in the mirror afterwards because I could feel something moving while breathing in and out of my nose. The back part of the scab where it was cauterized had came off so it was just kind of 'flapping' around. This bothered me a lot. I took much care to get it off, used a pair of tweezers to gently grab and pull that part of the scab off (entire thing came off in pieces) and the whole scab ended up coming off. The only part that was stubborn was where the side of it was right at the entrance of my nasal passage because that's where the air makes direct contact so that was the only dry part. I want to know if this was a bad idea to do that or not. There has yet to be any bleeding since that time I just described, so I'm thinking it will just scab over again, but I just wanted to make sure. I'll probably end up calling my doctor tomorrow anyway and asking about it, but I want to see if I can get a quick answer.
