I Just Had An Ultrasound And Ct Scan After Consistent
I just had an ultrasound and ct scan after consistent pelvic pain. It came back that my right ovary was 29cc while my left was 7cc. I'm in constant pain, I have problems going to the bathroom, sexual inter course is completely out of the question, frequent back/leg pain, bloating and nausea. I also have a history of endometriosis and cysts. I've had 3 lap surgeries (cysts and endo was removed on all occasions). I also currently have the mirena. My current specialist has ruled out endo without surgery due to no periods but is insisting I try hormone treatment monthly (zoladex which is designed to treat endometriosis) however in the past I have not responded well to any hormone treatments or birth control via pill (I suffer with depression and anxiety). My question is should I seek another opinion as no pain relief was offered and I'm no closer to getting treatment that helps my diagnosis. Also should I be concerned about the size difference of my ovaries?
