I have swollen ankles and feet. Looks like edema. I work on my feet for long hours but it never has gotten like this and it normally goes away after I get a good sleep. I've been having headaches as well and joint pains and stiffness at times. I'm not overweight and I don't have high blood pressures. In August I developed a swollen lymph node in my right groin. It came on suddenly and was red and hot. It was the size of a golf ball. I had fever and chills x 12hrs . Now it's only slightly enlarged and seems to be getting smaller and is no longer tender. I plan to have labs done to check my kidneys. I'm not taking any prescription drugs though I do use ibuprofen for pain. I had my 1st surgery this April on my shoulder for a labrum tear and clavicular excision. I'm a long time athlete. I had PRP and Prolotherapy done as well. My surgeon said I have arthritis in my shoulders. I'm afraid that something is wrong with my kidneys or maybe something viral I may have contracted. I garden and have been exposed to stray cats and kittens. I work in a hospital as a critical care RN and Rapid Response Nurse. What do you think?
