I have a lump in my throat . A biopsy was done and it is non cancerous. However, investigation has revealed that the lump is actually a patch of skin that is consistent with the skin type of the lining of my tummy. The ent specialist has never seen this before and i am being referred to a gastro specialist. I am concerned and trying to find out if anybody has experience of this. I am 44. I have no problems eating . I have no pain or discomfort from this. I sort of noticed it over time when occasionally I had the sensation that something was not quite normal. CT Scan show nothing. Not viewable via scope. Hence operation under general anaesthetic to check it out.
