I Have Major Depressive Disorder And Am Currently Dealing With

I have major depressive disorder and am currently dealing with depression. I am seeing a psychiatrist and am on 300mg of Buproprion. I have been on the medication at this dosage for two weeks. I am feeling better however sometimes feel not numb but empty and indifferent. I have been hospitalized in the past because I was deemed suicidal. I am not at all suicidal at this time but frequently think of being gone. My husband past away five years ago from cancer and although it has been five years, I still frequently have thoughts of wanting to be with him . Again, I am not having any suicidal thoughts. I will discuss this with my psychiatrist at my next visit but would appreciate another opinion as to why I am stilling having this feeling. Thank you.
