I Have Loss Of Normal Lumbar Lordosis And Osteoporosis Arthritis

I have loss of normal lumbar lordosis and osteoporosis arthritis of the same area. These are accompanied by degenerative disc disease.
I have been in the most severe pain over the last ten days, unable to carry out the most small tasks and have been suffering cramps all the way from my back down my buttocks and legs. I did attend the hospital and they gave me morphine injection and a muscle relaxant but refused to perform either an MRI or an x Ray.... they said I've to rest as it Seems to be a disc pressing on a nerve. And that it will pass in time...I'm.not so sure and feel a further investigation was called for. What do you think?
