I Have High Uric Acid Levels And Been Told To Take Medicines And List Of Food To Avoid. Why Is The Acid Level High And What Should I Do ?
I m 33 old woman and was recently told by my doc that I have high uric acid levels ( 489?) He gave my a perscrip, for medication and a list of foods to avoid.. do I really need to take the med? I ate haddock a couple of nights before the blood test , could it have affected the results?
Hi,
Thanks for query,
i do not think Taking of haddock once or twice can give rise so much uric acid level.
Even if you have doubt again go for test.
You have to take the medicine prescribed by your doctor.
Ok and bye.
