Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had pain in my pelvic area for 8 weeks and have sought treatment both from a gynecologist and urologist who have not found anything wrong. My bladder has not dropped, nothing shows up in a urine clean catch test or urine culture. I have been checked for STD. There is no blood in my urine which caused them to rule out a kidney stone. I also have a pain in my right side at almost the height of my breast which I don't know if could be related or not. The pain I am experiencing is a burning, pressure which feels like a brissell brush might feel if it was inserted in my vagina. There is no pain on urination in fact urination seems to temporarily relief the pain. Should I return to my urologist for a scope or seek treatment from a gastroenterologist for a colonoscopy?
