I Have Had A Rash On My Face For 6

I have had a rash on my face for 6 months, looks similar to lupus on cheeks and across the nose, from pictures on the internet. But also have swelling, burning on cheeks and lips. Have burning feet and hands and usually are hot most the time. Been to my gynecologist who did blood test for thyroid and estrogen, those are okay and also have been to a general doctor who did no tests, but said I was probably allergic to milk & sugar. Been to 2 separate dermatologist and a allergist, The dermatologist gave me steroids for 2 months, which I did not like being on, put took care of the swelling. She then sent me to an allergist. He put me on tetracycline and some gels for roseaca, he said that if it cleared it up then it wasn't lupus. Have not had any test (blood or patch) test. Just want to know if staying on the tetracycline is ok, or should I be more concern that maybe I have something more going on internally?
