I have had a UTI for about 2 weeks. I just finished a second course of Cipro. I took a Azo strip test tonight and my Leukocytes are positive but the Nitrite is negative. What can this be from? I do not have a fever. I did have pelvic pain but that has subsided. So, I am completely scared and my anxiety has shot through the roof. I appreciate any help you can give me. Oh, I am a diabetic with an A1C of 6.5. I am currently on Metformin 500 mg twice daily. Thank you.
