I Have Had PD For 8 Years. My Meds Mainly

I have had PD for 8 years. My meds mainly consist of sinemet . I have been complaining of strong back ache for for about a year. Various scans have been carried out which came up clear. As the ache which is like a strong pressure usually goes away after each dose of sinemet the conclusion is that it is due to muscle fatigue. Long release requip was introduced about 3 weeks ago -- 2 mg now 4 per day. During the last week I have noticed a rash on my back. I assume that is a side effect of the requip. Should I come off it immediately or reduce to 2 mg and then come off. Anyway it was not bringing about any significant improvement.
I have also gone from sleeping well to waking every few hours usually due to the back ache.
I am 70 years and still fairly active. The sinemet dosage is 600 mg per day plus 100 CR at night.
Any suggestions for the back ache? Is it normal ?
