I have emphysema and fibrosis. I have been told today I have an aggressive something in my left lung and will need a biopsy a sap to determine if it is cancer which looks likely. My consultant has said because my lungs are badly damaged and I am a large lady my lung could collapse. I'm not sure how this biopsy will be done..it will I be sedated or just numbed off any advise please.....I'm so scared and can't stop shivering x
