I have connective tissue disease of an unknown origin, my symptoms are torn tendons, heavy scarring, and tissue that does not heal. I also have severe arthritis in my hands, feet, hips, wrists, neck, and shoulders. My dr has suggested cortisone injections for the arthritis, however, the rhuematologist I was seeing at Mass General in Boston told me to never have cortisone injections as it could worsen the connective tissue disease. I recently moved to VA and see a new rheumatologist. When I mentioned that the Boston dr said no injections, anti inflammatories, etc due to cennective tissue disease, she said that's not accurate. So, I'm very curious as to which advice to follow
